Wife, mother, daughter, sister – like so many, those simple words have shaped my life inspite of my efforts to use words like

teacher, dancer, professional, scientist, leader . . .

My family and the gospel of Jesus Christ are my life

My passions include gardening, teaching tap and ballet, hiking, running, yoga and studying the night sky.

I truly love the country I live in, but I am painfully aware of its weaknesses.

Life has a way of teaching you what you need to know long before you ever knew you would need it – there are no coincidences – just tender mercies bestowed from on High.

I’m sure my story will weave its way through these posts – but for now, my simple motto is this:
